Forgotten Coast Fitness & Wellness Center Grand Opening & Open House

Forgotten Coast Fitness and Wellness Center will celebrate the grand opening of its new 8,000-square-foot facility with a free community Open House on Friday, November 20, 2026, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at 114 Oyster City Drive, Eastpoint. The event features a ribbon-cutting ceremony with the Chamber of Commerce, facility tours, and a chance to meet staff.

Guests can participate in three silent auctions: one .308 Savage hunting rifle, one Ruger 10/22 (.22LR), and a Yeti 65 Desert Tan Cooler. Door prizes will include local restaurant and business gift certificates.

At our new location, we’re proud to offer 20+ cardio machines and over 8,500 lbs of free weights—making us one of the largest and best-equipped Fitness Centers along the Forgotten Coast.

Valued at over $1.5 million, this effort was completed entirely through private philanthropy and corporate support. Notably, no government funding or taxpayer dollars were used. The relocation was made possible by an anonymous donation of a new 8,000-square-foot facility in Eastpoint, valued at $1 million. Additionally, local business partners provided $250,000 in in-kind support, and another $250,000 was raised through cash donations.
The nonprofit center now serves close to 500 members and offers 24/7 access with a full range of fitness equipment. Everyone is welcome.
