What We Collect and How We Use Your Information
We have a legitimate interest in running a successful and efficient business and in providing you with services and useful content, and we use the information we collect, both on its own and combined with any other information we collect about you, for the following purposes:

On our website, when you request information, sign up to receive our Newsletter, or register to participate in one of our event(s), we obtain information you provide such as your name, company name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and other information that does not link to the identity of any individual. We collect this data solely to provide for the service/registration you have requested.
Payment information that you provide to us for membership investments (or otherwise) is serviced by way of a third-party provider, described below and will only be used to facilitate payment for Chamber services/events. To insure accuracy and professional level service, your telephone conversations with us may be monitored or recorded. All photographs/videos taken at public and Chamber events are property of the Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce and may not be copied, remixed, transformed, redistributed, or built upon in any medium or format, for commercial purposes, without the written consent of the Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce.
Sharing with Third Party Service Providers and Vendors
We enter into contracts with carefully selected third parties so that they can assist us in servicing you (for example, providing you with a service or fulfilling an information request; providing us with information technology and storage services, credit/debit card transactions) or to assist us in our own marketing and advertising activities (including providing us with analytic information and search engine optimization services). Our contracts with such third parties prohibit them from using any of your personal information for any purpose beyond the purpose for which it was shared.
We share aggregated demographic information with our partners, members and advertisers in aggregated and anonymized formats to produce reports on trends and statistics, to improve marketing efforts on behalf of our members and the community. This is not linked to any personal information that can identify any individual person.
We partner with another party to provide specific services. When the user signs up for these services, we will share names, or other contact information that is necessary for the third party to provide these services. These parties are not allowed to use personally identifiable information except for the purpose of providing these services.
Information from Third Parties
For information we receive about you from a third party (ex: social media), you will need to follow the instructions from that party for updating your information and changing your privacy settings, where available. Privacy choices you have made on any third-party site will not apply to our use of the information we have collected directly through our website.

Only employees who need the information to perform a specific job (for example, billing or member services) are granted access to personally identifiable information. The computers/servers in which we store personally identifiable information are kept in a secure environment.

Retention of Personal Information
We retain your personal information to provide services to you and as otherwise necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We will retain your personal information for no more than seven years following the latest of the date which you request to withdraw your consent/unsubscribe for Newsletter and other emails or terminate your Membership.
Withdrawal of Consent
