Welcome to the
Carrabelle Chamber of Commerce
Nestled in the Panhandle on Florida’s Forgotten Coast, south of Tallahassee, Carrabelle is one of the last glimpses of Old Florida. Here, three pristine rivers flow into the Gulf of Mexico, offering world-class saltwater and freshwater fishing for redfish, grouper, snapper, trout, cobia, scallops, and shrimp. And don't forget our world famous Apalachicola Bay Oysters!
Carrabelle’s waterfront blends the charm of a working harbor with the fun of recreational boating and charter fishing. Surrounding forests - 750,000 acres - and waterways invite hunting, hiking, birding, trail-riding and exploring, while white-sand beaches on Carrabelle Beach, St. George Island, and Alligator Point beckon swimmers and beachcombers.
The town itself is filled with character—unique locally owned museums, shops and galleries, restaurants serving fresh Gulf seafood, and coastal B&Bs, vacation rentals, and hotels. Carrabelle hosts fun events and activities that bring locals and visitors together.
With no high-rises, traffic jams, or crowded shorelines, Carrabelle offers a peaceful retreat filled with a warm, welcoming spirit, natural beauty, and boundless wildlife including eagles, deer, osprey and black bear.
