Carrabelle Police Department

Please be aware that the Carrabelle Police Department office located at City Hall is not manned 24/7 as the on-duty officer may be responding to calls or patrolling the city. Messages left on the answering service or sent via Facebook are reviewed by administrators during normal business hours. Please understand that all calls for service or reports of crimes should be called in to 850-697-2113 for non-emergencies and 9-1-1 for emergencies. This allows for the on-duty Carrabelle officer to be notified of your needs via radio dispatch in a prompt manner. The dispatch is shared with all local agencies within Franklin County including the Franklin County Sheriff's Office, Apalachicola Police Department, and all fire and ambulance services. Their Facebook page may not be reviewed immediately and they want to ensure that your requests are being handled in the appropriate and timely manner. Thank you for your understanding!
