6th Annual Camp Gordon Johnston Dice Run

Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum and American Legion Post 82 have joined forces to host the 6th Annual Dice Run on Saturday, March 8, 2025 from 12:00-4:30 pm in Carrabelle, FL as part of the 30th Annual Camp Gordon Johnston Day. The Dice Run will take place immediately following the Camp Gordon Johnston Veterans ParadeThe Dice Run, a much-needed fundraiser for both 501(c)(3) nonprofits, supports the missions to to honor and educate future generations about veterans’ sacrifices and achievements.

Participants will enjoy a leisurely ride or drive along the Forgotten Coast on scenic US Highway 98, stopping at several fun locations to roll dice at each. At the end of the day, those with the highest and the lowest combined dice rolls will win prizes. All types of vehicles are welcome. If it’s legal to operate on a Florida highway, it can be entered. Bikers, riders, car clubs, Jeepers, veteran supporters, social organizations and anyone looking for a day of fun and friendly competition are encouraged to join.

The Dice Run will kick-off at the first stop, Camp Gordon Johnston WWII Museum, in Carrabelle, FL. There will be stops throughout the county with the run concluding by 4:30 pm at the American Legion Post 82 in Lanark, FL. The final stop party will be a great time with dinner, live music by Ashley Morgan Music and of course, winner prizes, door prizes, and a 50/50 raffle.

Dice Run Details:

  • Pre-registration: Available now online at 2025 Dice Run Registration.
  • Day of Registration: Starts at 11:30 AM at Camp Gordon Johnston Museum.
  • Tickets: Dice Run W/Meal are $25 per person which includes the ride, one dice run score card, a door prize ticket, dinner and live music. Extra score cards, meals, and more are also available for purchase. 
  • Starting Point: Kicks off at 12:00 pm at Camp Gordon Johnston Museum, 1873 US Hwy 98 West, Carrabelle, FL.
  • Route: Starting at the CGJ Museum, enjoy a scenic ride along the Forgotten Coast on coastal Hwy 98, with stops at fun locations across Franklin County.
  • Final Stop: Concludes at American Legion Post 82 in Lanark Village by 4:30 PM, featuring a delicious meal, live music by Ashley Morgan, raffles, and prizes.

Guests are urged to come to Carrabelle early to enjoy the Veterans Parade. The parade, which honors military veterans and active duty military, will start at 10:45 am along US Hwy 98 in downtown Carrabelle. Visitors are also welcome to visit the museum from 11 am-5 pm to learn the stories of the region’s WWII heroes. Participants are encouraged to stay for the weekend (or the week) and enjoy a variety of community activities, attractions, and restaurants.
