The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) announces a week filled with creativity, connection, and community at the Eastpoint and Carrabelle Branches of the Franklin County Public Libraries through their popular Program Series. Library programs are free and open to the public with no library card required. 

A Tech Help session is scheduled for Tuesday, March 10 at 11 AM at the Carrabelle Branch. Patrons may receive one-on-one assistance with devices, email, digital resources, and more. No registration is required; drop-ins are welcome.

Novels & Nibbles: Book Club will meet on Tuesday, March 10 from 12–1:30 PM at the Eastpoint Branch to discuss the month’s selection, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo by Steig Larsson. Light refreshments will be served.

Creation Station: Make your own Volcano, a program where children ages 7–12 can make a baking soda and vinegar volcano which will bubble, fizz and explode with fun. The program will be held on Wednesday, March 11 at 4:00 PM at the Eastpoint Branch.

Adult Crafternoon: Upcycled Bunny w/ Scrap Fabric will take place on Thursday, March 12 at 2:30 PM at the Eastpoint Branch. At this workshop guests will be using a precut cardboard bunny and using scrap fabric to create a cute bunny. This easy hands-on program will be provided in a relaxed, welcoming setting and is open to adults of all skill levels.  

Video Game Hour will be held on Friday, March 13 at 4:30 PM at the Carrabelle Branch. Teens and tweens are invited to unwind and compete on the Nintendo Switch during this fun and casual gaming hour. 

PI Day at the Library will be offered on Saturday, March 14 at 1:00 PM at the Eastpoint Branch. Patrons will celebrate everyone’s favorite irrational number with a day full of math, creativity, and of course, pie. Guests will enjoy pizza, Moon pies, hands-on math and STEM activities, creative PI art and bracelet stations, measuring challenges, door prizes, and fun facts about PI. This session is free and open to all ages.
