Teen Mood Boards and Toddler Time: Finger Painting at Carrabelle (SRP)

The 2025 Summer Reading Program continues into its fifth week, July 14 through July 18, at both the Eastpoint and Carrabelle Branch Libraries. Sponsored by the Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries, this program features fun and imaginative activities and events for both kids and adults. All library programs are free and open to the public—no library card required.
This year’s theme, “Color Our World,” highlights art and creativity at the Franklin County Public Libraries. The program is designed to inspire and engage readers of all ages through a variety of artistic expressions. Guests are invited to celebrate every page, paint stroke, and performance that adds a little more color to the world,
Week Five (July 14-July 18)
- Mon., July 14 – Teen Mood Boards @ 2:30 pm at both branches. Registration is required.
- Wed., July 16 – Toddler Time: Finger Painting @ 10:30 am ET at both branches
- Wed., July 16 – Writer’s Forum @ 1:00 PM at Eastpoint
Summer Reading is an annual program that brings children, teens, and families to local public libraries for reading and activities. A Summer Reading Program:
- encourages lifelong reading habits,
- supports reluctant readers with activities,
- helps children maintain their skills over the summer,
- generates interest in the library and books, and it being summer,
- can just be good fun and provide an opportunity for family time.
The Summer Reading Program is sponsored by the Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries, a 501(c)(3) organization that supports the Franklin County Public Libraries in Eastpoint and Carrabelle, FL.
