August 12 @ 12:00 pm - August 14 @ 3:30 pm

The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) invite residents and visitors to enjoy free, fun, and educational activities for all ages as part of their popular Program Series. These programs foster creativity, learning, and connection in a welcoming environment. All library programs are free and open to the public with no library card required.
Novels & Nibbles: Book Club
Guests can enjoy a lively discussion over this month’s book selection, “How To Read A Book” by Monica Wood. This session is open to anyone – whether they have read it cover-to-cover or just skimmed the chapters. Novels & Nibbles meets the 2nd Tuesday each month. Light refreshments are provided.
- Date & Time: Tuesday, August 12 at 12:00 to 1:30 pm
- Location: Eastpoint Branch, 160 Hickory Dip Rd, Eastpoint, FL.
Creation Station: Greenhouses
Creation Station is a STEM program with hands-on activities and creative tinkering for ages 7–12. Kids will build and decorate their own plant habitat — plant seeds, observe growth, learn ecosystems. Future sessions may include projects like building challenges, simple circuits, or art-tech mashups. All supplies are provided.
- Date & Time: Wednesday, August 13 at 4:00 pm
- Location: Eastpoint Branch, 160 Hickory Dip Rd, Eastpoint, FL.
Adult Crafternoon: Pothead Planters
Adults participants will design and assemble their own “Pothead Planters”—a charming and humorous craft project where planters are decorated to resemble playful faces and topped with plant “hair.” Adult Crafternoon is a free afternoon of creativity where adults can unwind, connect with others, and take home a handmade treasure. All materials are supplied. This session is designed to be an enjoyable and stress-free experience, perfect for both beginners and seasoned crafters.
