"A Rising Tide Lifts All Ships" effort invites community support for Forgotten Coast tourism.
John and Martha Adams encourage businesses and neighbors to help welcome RV travelers and share the benefits of local tourism.
John and Martha Adams are encouraging local businesses, community organizations and residents to join a simple effort: introduce more RV travelers to Florida's Forgotten Coast and encourage them to explore, Stay longer and support the businesses that make the area special.
Called "A Rising Tide Lifts All Ships," the effort centers on a shared opportunity. A visitor's stay can reach well beyond a campground. bringing customers to restaurants, shops. fishing guides, marinas and other local services. The goal is to help more of those connections happen.
The message celebrates the quiet side Of Florida: coastal scenery, fishing and boating, local flavor and time to slow down. John and Martha want to help tel' that story through local media, business conversations and community participation.
The invitation is open to businesses throughout the area. A restaurant can suggest a nearby shop. A campground can introduce guests to local Outings. Residents can share favorite places and help visitors discover reasons to return. Each connection gives travelers another opportunity to experience the community.
The Adamses welcome ideas from business owners, tourism operators, civic groups and local media about how to spread the message and encourage visitors to spend more time in the area. The effort's guiding belief is that working together to welcome visitors can create opportunities across the local economy.
Businesses, organizations and members of the media interested in participating or learning more are invited to contact John Adams at 352-322-8308.
