
Crochet Workshop, Tech Help, and Video Game Hour at the Carrabelle Branch
September 21 @ 4:30 pm - September 24 @ 5:30 pm

The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) announces a week of creative, engaging, and relaxed programs at the Franklin County Public Libraries. All programs are free and open to the public with no library card required.
A Crochet workshop will be offered on Monday, September 21 from 4:30-5:30 pm at the Carrabelle Branch Library. Learn the basics. Staff lead instruction and supplies will be provided. Participants are encouraged to register by calling the Carrabelle Branch.
The Tech Help session will return on Tuesday, September 22 at 11 am at the Carrabelle Branch. Patrons may receive one-on-one assistance with devices, email, digital resources, and more. No registration is required; drop-ins are welcome.
Video Game Hour will be held on a new day of the week – Thursdays. On September 24, at 4:30 pm at the Carrabelle Branch, teens and tweens are invited to unwind and compete on the Nintendo Switch during these fun and casual gaming hours.

Also this week in Eastpoint:
Brain Builders will take place on Monday, September 21 at the Eastpoint Branch at 4 pm. Each week brings a brand-new challenge, from solving problems and experimenting to building, designing and thinking outside the box. Participants never know what the mission will be. Recommended for ages 8 and up.
Mahjong Club meets for open play Tuesday, September 22 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Eastpoint Branch. All players are invited to join in the fun.
Story Time will take place on Wednesday, September 23, at 10:30 am at the Eastpoint Branch. This week’s book is Don’t Bring a Dragon to the Library. Each week, Story Time brings stories to life through soundscapes, colorful visual aids, hands-on crafts, and simple games that encourage imagination, listening skills, and early literacy.
Adult Crafternoon will be offered on Thursday, September 24 at 2:30 pm at the Eastpoint Branch. Participants can enjoy a relaxed, welcoming atmosphere while expressing their creativity, regardless of skill level.
