SUMMARY:Brain Builders\, Mahjong\, and Writers Forum at the Eastpoint Branch
DESCRIPTION:The Friends of the Franklin County Public Libraries (FFCPL) announces a week of creative\, engaging\, and relaxed programs at the Franklin County Public Libraries. All programs are free and open to the public with no library card required. Note: both branches will be closed Monday\, September 7 in recognition of Labor Day. \n\nBrain Builders will start Monday\, September 14 at the Eastpoint Branch at 4 pm. Each week brings a brand-new challenge\, from solving problems and experimenting to building\, designing and thinking outside the box. Participants never know what the mission will be. Recommended for ages 8 and up.\n\n  \n\nMahjong Club meets for open play Tuesday\, September 15 from 1 pm to 4 pm at the Eastpoint Branch. All players are invited to join in the fun.\n\n  \n\nThe Writer’s Forum meets on Wednesday\, September 16 at 1 pm at the Eastpoint Branch. Attendees are welcome to share their work\, get inspired\, and connect with fellow writers. Writers of all genres and experience levels are invited.\n\n \nPlus this week in Carrabelle:  \nA Crochet workshop will be offered on Monday\, September 14 from 4:30-5:30 pm at the Carrabelle Branch Library. Learn the basics. Staff lead instruction and supplies will be provided. Participants are encouraged to register by calling the Carrabelle Branch. \nThe Tech Help session will return on Tuesday\, September 15 at 11 am at the Carrabelle Branch. Patrons may receive one-on-one assistance with devices\, email\, digital resources\, and more. No registration is required; drop-ins are welcome. \nAdult Crafternoon will be offered on Thursday\, September 17 at 2:30 pm at the Carrabelle Branch.
