Educational Facilities in or around Carrabelle, Florida

Franklin County has a new state of the art consolidated school that encompases Kindergarden through High School and is located in the middle of the county in Eastpoint.  The new Franklin County High School opened in 2008 and for more information visit http://www.franklincountyschools.org or call the school at 850.670.2800.  

We have Gulf Coast Community College-Gulf Franklin Campus located 50 miles to the West in Port St. Joe that offers training for LPN and Correction Officers and many other courses.  Florida State Universityis located 45 miles to the East in Tallahassee and Florida A & M University is located in Tallahassee.  Tallahassee Community Colleges is also located in Tallahassee.
